CAD/CAM Planroom can handle sending out bid invitations, addendum email, and fax notifications by the thousands without tying up your server or phone lines. When invitees receive their invitations via email they can click on their unique link to view the project without logging in. The vendors and subcontractors can provide immediate feedback to Project Managers on whether or not they will bid and order plans.
Contact manager
General Contractors, Construction Managers, Designers, and Estimators love the ability to import their contacts from their email system and spreadsheets. Each user has their own Master Contacts list, as well as access to a shared Company Contacts list for their organization.
Subcontractors and vendors organized by CSI codes
When users register on the CAD/CAM Planroom, they designate their trade(s) by selecting from the list of CSI discipline codes. This makes it a snap to import new bidders into the appropriate subcontractor Contacts group for sending new bid invitations on future projects. This is important because more bid responses received means more savings for the project owner.
Versatile bid package confirmation
In addition to, and independent of, the document folders, bid packages can be created for each category of subcontractor involved in the project. The bid packages are then populated with the documents that the bidder is required to order.
Support for color and many file formats

Another cost saving feature for your projects is the ability to instantly view the status of every bid invitee on a project, if they've viewed the bid request, if they decided to bid or not, if they have downloaded prints, if they ordered prints, and when they were delivered. This way a construction manager can become alerted of situations of low bid responses for certain trades in time for them to send out more invitations. The subcontractors whose bids have been accepted are added to the Project Team.

Our bulk upload module allows you to upload files in one step. Indexing is built into the viewer allowing heads-up data entry capture of title block information.

Project document sets can be organized into folders with no limitation on naming convention or levels of nesting. Folders can be used to designate disciplines, specifications, addenda, etc.
